Election of the New Vice Mayor

The Richmond City Council shall elect from among its members a vice mayor to serve for 2026. In the absence or disability of the mayor, the vice mayor shall serve as the mayor. The vice mayor shall also represent the mayor upon the mayor's request. The vice mayor shall serve for a term of one year - Mayor's Office (Mayor Eduardo Martinez 510-620-6503).
