The council approved an ICE-Free Zone Ordinance and citywide protocol designed to limit local cooperation with federal immigration enforcement. The measure passed with Jamelia Brown abstaining, while 3 residents spoke during public comment.

A contract with Liftech Consultants, Inc. for planning and design services to relocate the SS Red Oak Victory was approved in a 5-1 vote, with Claudia Jimenez voting no and Jamelia Brown abstaining. No dollar amount was specified for the historic ship relocation project.
