Construction Agreement Amendments and Accept the Shields-Reid Park Field for the Soccer Fields-Restrooms-Parks Project

ADOPT a resolution to APPROVE the first amendment to the construction agreement with Bauman Landscape & Construction, Inc. to increase the agreement amount by $450,000 for a revised total agreement amount of $2,135,580.98

APPROVE the first amendment to the construction agreement with Calico California Constructores, Inc. to increase the agreement amount by $300,000, for a revised total agreement amount of $2,625,479.61

AUTHORIZE the director of public works to approve change orders up to 10 percent of the revised construction agreement amounts for revised not-to-exceed totals of $2,349,139.08 for Bauman Landscape & Construction, Inc. and $2,888,027.57 for Calico California Constructores, Inc

ACCEPT the Shields-Reid Park Field project as complete

AUTHORIZE the city clerk to file the Notice of Completion with the Contra Costa County Recorder’s Office

and AUTHORIZE the city engineer to release the contractor bonds and retention payment, provided there are no outstanding liens or stop notices – Public Works Department (Darcie DeLashmutt 510-672-3944/Daniel Chavarria 510-620-5478).
